Original Pottery, hand-glazed in Guernsey,
Channel Islands.

It may only be pottery, but it is little details, simple pleasures and
human rituals that brighten up even the most ordinary days.

Hello, my name is Katie Meader. I am a 1970’s Guernsey-girl born and bred.

I live in Rue de la Terre Norgiot, St Saviour – with my husband Ben, our monkey-cat Bruno and naughty kitten Buster.

I’m just obsessed with colours and all things pottery!

We have recently moved from Round Chimney, where I set-up Round Chimney Pottery in 2009, decorating white earthenware Bisque in the forms of jugs, plates, mugs, bowls etc and making the occasional quirky sculpture from clay. I decorate and hand-dip each piece and then fire it all in my little hobby kiln at home.

With every piece I make, I hope that it will be a joy to use; to eat your toast from the plate that has your child’s Hand Print on it; to share afternoon tea with pals using a colourful individually-designed Cake Plate; to drink hot chocolate from the Mug with your name on it……your mug!
